The Essence of Easter

As we journey this path

We see a new world appear

With the coming of Easter

A time I hold so dear

The Resurrection

and the Light

A time for new insight

To tear away at boundaries made

To wander through the moonlit glade

To see beyond the stars

To reach for heaven afar

This Easter, come what may

Believe life is truly gay

Happy beyond all realms

Of understanding thus far

Everlasting light

Growing within the Sight

Of pure delight

A day to think deeply about the journey

A day to make amends

A day to truly enjoy life's glory

A world without end

Believe in life everlasting

Believe in the truth and the Light

See beyond the limitations of the flesh

To a world that's really bright

Where flashes of lightning

Light up the sky

Where thunder sounds like a lion's roar

Heaven all the more

Deep inside our selves

we know of this truth

I'm sure

That somewhere out there

There's more

Than simply flesh and bone

A glorious world

To be known

Onward they cry

The Angel's bright

With swords and banners raised

To the future, To the Light

Of a misty haze

Great days

Thank you dear Lord Jesus

For this day

When you rose again

The joy it brings the children of the future

Is really safe for hum'en

It reminds how the simple things

In life do really matter

How a child's smile

Can light up the world

And all that blessed chatter

Tinkling sounds from deep within

That matter much to them

For your listening ear

To prayers of a loving nature

St Brigid's coming in to light

As the Springtime dawns anew
The Goddess shines Her light
Brigid gathers water for the streams
Snowdrops come to Sight
Little heads bop up and down
In the winds of time
Beautiful Auburn hair unfurls
The stars are Yours and Mine
She pours water into the hearts a yearning
For innocence and mirth
Maidens of the Springtime

The Returning Light
The quiet Day
The dawning of a New Age
A Saint, an Angel and A Goddess
Brigid shines again
She brings with Her a beautiful light
So pure and therefore true
To bring about a new insight
Into the sky so blue
Flowers dancing, World alight
Lord Jesus Christ would show delight
At this the Golden Age of Peace

For the darkness to cease

As time doth turn
It's merry Wheel
Of Sabbat pure and fine
This Imbolctide brings hope and glory
Of something just so fine
As We do journey down Life's pathway
Wandering to and fro
The path bends it twists
It journeys on
But steady all the time
Thank You Dear Lady
For blessing Us
With a new Day
Without crime
Whether you be girl or boy
Man, Woman or just fine
Thank the Heavens Above
For stillness of the dawn
As Light returns We know Her well

The Glory of the Lord

Dear souls of the Universe
I am gathered here today to get through this thing called LIFE!

I feel at this time in eternity we need to appreciate more than ever that the Lord and indeed the Lady do not stand alone in heaven. Up there in the heavenly skies are indeed a flock of sheep for the Lord is Our shepherd and we shall not want! Plus a whole host of Angels. It is my wish that we become less dependant on the Lord Our God as a sole experience. He needs his gathered flocks around him at all times. After all in Aesop's fables we heard of a boy who cries wolf and when he left his flocks the wolf attacked. Why would The Lord ever leave Us. He is everywhere we look by day and as the Lady reigns over the Night the Stars are gathered to watch over Us with the very Divine Light we need to rest Our souls that He is indeed ever present. The deepness of the night sky is that of the Heavenly Mother. She gathers with Us at night to rest Our souls and let Us sleep soundly. Once dawn comes the Lord rises from His slumbers and shines upon Our faces again. Thanks be for this natural evolution of the world. Both Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother are always together with Us each and every day of Our lives.

Thank you for this natural balance

Where on Earth are you brother?

I wonder how the passing went

Of all that future winter lament

Where Spirit strong doth behold

A tainted one who wonders far

Shine again after troubles deep

When all we do is Souls to keep

Safely smiling day and night

Michelmas Day - The Feast of all Angels

Thanks to everyone who has been a while here. This blessed day forthcoming to the Christian Wiccan calendar is one we celebrate greatly as the peak of our Witches hat. It is said no blackberry may be eaten after this day, 29th September as this is the day the Archangel Gabriel will throw Satan from the heavens into a pile of brambles! Nice one Gabriel! 

For the feast of all Angels I like to remember just how blessed the heavens are! How sacred life can be! How treasured our own little angels are. It happens to be my young daughter's birthday so welcome little angels.

Why do we question life? Sometimes when you hear a story as strong as this you understand just how there is a difference between light and darkness. Why the Angels were sent to save us and why we all strive to become like the Angel of our dreams.

There was a young man named St George
Who gallantly rode a white steed
He fought to save his damsel in distress
From the fierce old dragon in need
In need of knowing his heart
In need of knowing his soul
St George the mighty knight
Helped bring an end to world of the mole

To bring light back to darkness
To shine upon life all through
To be a true knight Takes great and good might

St George bears a standard on high
Red and White shine through the night
Light will behold a saviour
